Another fine offering from the Young's stable. A bright open place that feels cared for. Service is bright and attentive. The beer is great. A couple of cask ales on offer. A most enjoyable place
Amazing roast dinner ...beef was outstanding and such massive portions. Lovely staff. Only thing don't like is dogs allowed in. Owners should be more respectful and control there dogs around people eating food.
Lovely atmosphere, lovely staff and good service. Best fish and chips I've had in a long, long time. Perfectly cooked fish, crispy batter. Lovely crispy chips with a fluffy inside and incredibly flavoursome pea mash, lovely and sweet and fresh, with a nice bit of texture. Expensive prices, but fish and chips worth it. I will definitely be going back for more.
Came for a roast, and left having eaten a roast. Bloody good Guinness and some great food options.
Lovely quaint pub tucked away behind the somewhat ‘commercial’ Wandsworth town centre. Beautiful setting lovely staff and great clientele. The experience was lovely apart from slight hiccup from appetiser to main which took a bit of time which understandably was due to the pressure to serving hungry Xmas diners. All in all a lovely little find even though I am not local to the area but was the only one I found available after trying with another 20 pubs a month in advance!
Very disappointing visit and wouldn’t return. Booked for dinner as the menu looked lovely. Arrived and ended up showing ourselves to our table as it wasn’t clear who was staff. Tried ordering through the app but it was all blacked out as unavailable. Eventually managed to order through a member of staff after 20 minutes. Poorly trained member of staff that we felt sorry for also. Half the menu wasn’t available to order which was disappointing but made do. After a further 25 minutes starter arrived but no drinks still. It looked awful. We are then told the drinks we ordered weren’t available so decided to leave it there. Wouldn’t return.
Really good quality food. Nice staff and very friendly locals. A stylish and cosy pub
By far the best roast ever. Second time in three weeks. Food - fabulous, service - outstanding. Friendly place with amazing food. We will be back.
Lovely pub away from the Wandsworth Town high Street, I cannot comment on the food but looked like it is worth coming back to try. The only reason not 5 stars, is it is quite a noisy pub.
Great food, great atmosphere - Jacob and Ollie were fantastic. Thoroughly recommend
