Nice lively bar with good friendly service. The extended out door seating area is a great addition for this venu which can get busy, don't let that put you off as the customers are good company too. As well as drinks you can have a bite to eat here as well. Must say, whilst I'm not aware of the frequency; this place have live music as well.
Great to find a place that is playing live music. Drinks were good and not too much of a wait despite it being rammed. However music was definitely dangerously loud bring ear plugs if you're at the front and it wasn't my kind of crowd. Still not bad, I took a star off because it was way too loud and my ears were ringing badly the next day.
Nice place, great music but too few bar staff vs floor staff. Drinks were a little slow and we waited 2 hours for a pizza... however the main issue is that either there are too many floor staff or too few glasses...? We were approached every few minutes for our "empties". That was really quite imposing, but also they took away drinks we had not finished, and our pizza tray when we had a slice still left. I appreciate glasses need to be cleared promptly but I have never experienced anything like it. Perhaps having servers dedicated to certain sections would prevent multiple staff approaching the same group?
Super cool pub! The service is one of the best things, I love the decor and the fact it’s music-centric. Has a big outdoor area, away from the Main Street so feels safe and nice. It’s heated in the winter but only partially covered so perhaps not ideal if it rains
Good outside space but cider was extremely flat, only one beer on tap and the bar tender was unnecessarily rude. There’s a scheme where you leave a review on design my night for a free cocktail, but it has to be a 5 star review which isn’t stated on the table. Bit confusing …
Went on a Monday night and the bouncer was SO rude because I didn't have my ID fair my own fault! but considering it was DEAD and I am clearly over the age limit/wasn't drunk it was totally unnecessary and left a bad taste in my mouth. Avoid, avoid, avoid if this is how they think it's okay to treat their customers. Shame as I used to love it...
Completely disgusted . Horrible staff - Very handsy to move through the crowd; a bouncer grabbed me to move through the crowd and after i flinched and pushed their hand off me they asked to speak to me outside and whilst laying hands on me, pushed/forced me outside… they just grope people as they chose… the lowest kind of bouncers, abusing their position to grope people who are just having a nice time at a bar. Unacceptable and really disgusting. After spending a good amount of money for drinks for a large group, this is really gross behaviour which will be reported to the police.
Absolutely love this spot. Was there last weekend for the 2nd time. Cocktails are delicious and reasonably priced. Made the mistake of requesting 4 jägerbombs which was prepared in tumblers with the use of Redbull from the soda gun thereby mixing the drink which traditionally is separated with a shot glass within the tumbler. I ordered 4 shots which ended up costing £32!! A bit excessive, hence the 4 star.
Awful establishment. Came here with my family & friends to celebrate my birthday, however the staff, especially the female manager, were incredibly rude and disrespectful. I’m very upset and would not recommend this place even if it was the only bar open. Disappointing and hope they improve in the future.
Nice place for drinks and cocktails . Most Cocktails around £9.5. They also serve pizzas. Nothing extraordinary though. The day we visited they had live music which was nice but around 10 all stools and high tables were removed , which gives space for dancing , but people have nowhere to put their coats , bags and drinks. So you end up with piles of coats in the middle of the floor and around them people dancing. That’s a downside as well , if you wear high heels !!
