Does what it says on the tin !! Beautiful crab. Packed full of both dark and white meat. Wonderful location on the water. They also have a fresh fish shop. We always buys some dressed crabs to take away with us. They wrap them well and you can freeze them.

This restaurant is probably the closest equivalent you will get to eating in Cancale (France) on British shores. We had the seafood platter for two. The food was super fresh and delicious. I also think that the price is very reasonable. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone....apart from people who are allergic to crustaceans, in which instance this place is probably best avoided!

I live on the island and always take my visitors here for a 5 star meal...it is a must. And should be added to your bucket list

My wife and I love seafood, and we'd been planning on visiting the Best Dressed Crab for some time. While biking from Shanklin via the red quirrel trail, we got lost on our way to Bembridge. As a result, we were ~30 min late for our booking. However, they were still kind enough to accommodate us, event though it meant that they had to close later. The seafood was amazing as expected. The staff were really friendly. We were told that the lobster had just been caught when we arrived, and was cooked not long after. The dressed crabs were delicious with plenty of brown meat, and we loved the fresh prawns too! Highly recommended!

Lovely fresh crab from this very unassuming venue. Not speedy service but who's looking for speed when you have these views and this food!
