This is a fantastic spot. It's been around since the famine but now it feeds the famished! It a quiet homely pub that caters for everyone. Lovely layout to cater for couples, family, groups of friends or parties. The food is hearty and well worth the price. The service is excellent, the views from the pub are very scenic (at any time of the year). Well worth a visit

The lounge of The Dropping Well is a fantastic little spot. Great Guinness paired friendly old school bar men who take pride in what they do. 

It also has a cosy fire to keep you warm in the winter. I couldn’t ask for much more if I’m honest.

Irish pub atmosphere (real one!). Food is good and the portions are very big.
Staff are very good.
I tried both breakfast and dinner and they were great.

Always a good feed and great service - their fish cakes, chicken wings or salads are reliably excellent and desserts are brilliant.
Equally good for watching the match with friends in the bar or a family meal looking out over the Dodder in the restaurant.

Very nice local pub with great food. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The atmosphere is very traditional Irish and relaxed. I have been there a couple times now and was never disappointed. I would recommend for a chill meal and some pints.
