We went here with our daughter and her partner as a special Mothers day meal.    We had booked a table and were immediately shown to our table at 12.15   It all went downhill from there.  We had to wait an hour to even order our meals and almost an hour for them to bring it to the table.    The problem seemed to be, not enough trained staff.  The ladies did not know which table had ordered what food.  we only saw 3 people actually doing the tables, and seemed very stressed out.      
The food when it came, was piled high almost over stacked. My husbands roast beef was hidden under a pile of various veg, and consisted of two small slices, when he actually found it.    It would have been better if they reverted to serving the veg in separate dishes as they used to do.    
Definitely too many customers and too few staff.      

Saying all that, the food was edible. I would go back, but NOT for a special meal. IE Mothers day, Easter , Christmas. 

Oh and I was given a miniature rose   Thank you.

Been going there for years but am very disappointed that they have stopped doing a pot of tea for two. My wife and I who are both pensioners now have to pay £3.50 for two cups of tea, when one pot was more than enough. Every little saving helped.

Lovely place to go. Nice helpful staff. Love visiting as always something new to see. Price very good
