Mission

Newbarn farm is committed to providing excellent farm produce sold direct from the farm. By cutting out the middle man our Customers are getting fresh quality produce and supporting Farming in their locality
The Donkey Shed Restaurant aims to provide fresh and tasty meals showcasing the best of our homegrown and locally sourced produce.

Products

Eggs
We have a flock of hens on the farm which provide us with fresh eggs daily.

Vegetables
We grow a wide range of seasonal vegetables on the farm which are all sold fresh from the field and taste wonderful. We also
have a wide range of carefully selected fruit and other locally grown farm produce.

Potatoes
We grow our own Potatoes including Queens, Roosters and Pinks. Our Potatoes are harvested and packed fresh every day.

In addition to our farm produce, our customers get a chance to to say hello to our farm animals. Please see our photos for details.

Food always fantastic. Organic high quality produce. Very busy at weekends but worth the wait. Nice area to walk around with children for a little while to see farm animals.

A hidden gem just South of Ashbourne on the old N2 motorway. The locals are trying to keep.it a secret! 
Serving local produce in generous amounts by nice waiting staff.

Great spot to spend a summers day watching the day go with a number of outdoor seats. Or if it's a bit dreary outside sit inside beside the pot belly stove and warm your geet and your heart.

Great place to bring young kids so they can wander and see pigs, donkeys, goats, gees, ducks and chickens after they demolish their chicken dippers and ice cream. 

Try the beef sandwich you'll love it.

Food was delicious, huge lunch/dinner menu. Staff were lovely. The place itself it's so warm and cosy.
