With so many good pubs in Norwich, it's unclear why you'd visit the doghouse currently. Hopefully, the new owners can make some needed improvements. The beer selection is poor, and the decor & atmosphere don't make up for it.

This place has had a revamp a really, great overhall and has a lovley vibe with welcoming staff and a good selection of beers and wines, now doing fresh and lovley Woodburn Pizza on Friday and Saturday the Pizza was lovley and fresh with great ingredients, well worth a visit.

That's one of the loveliest places to spend a few hours in the evening.  Central enough,  close to the river,  not too crowded,  and not too pricey either

Cold pint and friendly service.

OK if you don't like real ale
