Lovely place , comfortable and friendly atmosphere, fantastic staff so helpful and polite , cocktails were amazing and very reasonably priced, Food was delicious and also well priced , not a fault of a kind could I find with this spot , il definitely be back and can't wait to enjoy the beer garden

Great place for a party, food and alcohol usually available with a wide selection of drinks. Events also available to book. Places available indoors in the bar, in the ballroom for events, or outdoor seating to relax or smoke. Pricing is decent. Recommended for events booking

Perfect lunch menu. The bar/restaurant wasn't busy so service was quick which is actually the norm in here. Lunch steak ciabatta was amazing. I would highly recommend it. The lady server was very friendly and welcoming

Nice atmosphere. Food is good and wait staff were very attentive. Only complaint is with starters. They only offer tapas type starters so it can get expensive really fast. I ordered the wings and for about £7 I only got 3 wings.

We went for Christmas lunch. Food was good but Christmas menu was advertised but not actually provided. Service was a little slow for drinks. Also, football was on - which is of course fine - but the volume of it was so loud even in the restaurant section. Just a bit unnecessary and made us leave earlier than we would have perhaps stayed.

Food was freezing when served, steak was not worth the price at all! waitress was lovely and sorted it quick enough. Bar service for drinks took forever..bar staff didn't communicate with each other and had poor manners when asked to change a dirty glass!! Toilets are not well kept. Door men were lovely. Would not recommend sadly this place is more suited to football crowd.

Great for parties. Had a private party for my son's christening and the place was fantastic. They had a great room, great staff and great food. For anyone having a private party I would highly recommend the Devenish. They take care of pretty much everything at a very reasonable cost.

A lovely place for a meal or a drink. Prices are reasonable and the staff is friendly. There is lots of seating that allows for larger groups to sit together. We saw a play in the upstairs room, and although it was sold out, we didn't feel crowded. A nice place to spend an evening. The only thing I found that was a bit negative was that the choice in beer on tap was different from other bars. Still, we did fine!

Music was unbearably loud within the confines of small private function room The food provided was very good. The meagre toilet facilities were embarrassing and had obviously not been finished to any sort of standard all , most disappointing.

I like to start of, with I wasn't happy with the service I got tonight. I brought my family out for my daughters confirmation 10 adults and 12 kids. Took them long to get served first. 1st, the kids food some was missing and had to wait 20mins before I realised they forgot. 2nd Have no non alcoholic drinks for us drivers. 3rd. After adults starters waited another 50mins before we got our mains out. And they got some of the orders wrong.not as if it was busy on a Wednesday night. Don't get me wrong we all went out for my 40th few weeks before and was more of us and the service was amazing from a lady NICULA. But tonight took the biscuit don't feel I could go back for food again. The food was still amazing but need to be sharper coming out. Far play they did give us discount. Dev you need to look into this more.
