First visit today, what a lovely professional practice this is. I was made to feel very welcome and everyone i spoke to from receptionists to hygienist and of course the dentist made me feel at ease. They are very fair with their pricing and like some dentists don't want to rip you off, they generally want whats best for you.
I am so pleased i found this dentist,a big thank you to the Dental centre I'm smiling once more. x

Phone up and asked for a price to refit a crown lady on the phone quoted £60 when I turned up for the treatment it was only when I had finished my treatment I was told that the price was actually £110! I told the dentist who is a partner in the practice that I had been quoted £60 and she acknowledged that she was aware that the receptionist has quoted me wrong yet she didn't offer to charge the fee quoted as a goodwill gesture for there error. I then decided to take up her offer of £30 for a full check up on my teeth from which I had to cancel my appointment due to a serious illness only to be told when I called back and spoke to a very rude Chris Powell that i wasn't allowed to rebook or have my money back due to a missed appointment absolute disgusting and very unfair would not recommend using this dental practice

I was initially impressed by this dentists as the clinic is clean and dentists seemed to be professional.  I was advised to have a home whitening treatment... This cost £200 which is reasonable compared to other dentists... However the whitening kit they sold me (Phillips zoom) can be purchased for just £30 online!  

I believe I was very ill advised as my treatment plan was to have my teeth covered with veneers as my teeth have become week due to enamel.  When the dentist recommended whitening I was a bit hesitant as my previous dentist has stated that it wouldn't benefit my teeth as the enamel had already came off my teeth and the underlay won't whiten.

When I began to use the whitening kit at home my teeth became unbearably sensitive, I could not continue with the treatment... My teeth felt as though they were going to fall out!  The dentist had warned me about this and said to carry on as I would be pleased by the outcome.

I was unable to visit the dentist for a few months after the disastrous teeth whitening phase due to work commitments and moving away.  My teeth became more and more sensitive, and I noticed the small indents on my front teeth where enamel had came off had not tripled in size after teeth whitening and denying had been exposed (every time I breath through my mouth my front tooth is in agony, and the dentine is patchy and disclosured) 

Every day I wake up in fear that my front tooth may snap due to lack of enamel.  I phoned the surgery to see if I could get a emergence appointment as I was scared my tooth was going to snap and was casually told I had a months wait! 

When I finally could get an appointment I was told it would be just a check up and I would have to schedule treatment afterwards which could be up to a month later!  

Absolutely rediculous ! Phoned around my local dentists and managed to get an appointment for three days later and an appointment where they would do the checkup and treatment same day! 

I would strongly advise this surgery to buck up their ideas and listen to their clients!

I'm not sure who the "poor to fair" reviewer dealt with but I have never had any problems at all with this dentist. They are consistently very friendly and professional. My father and I have been going for years and have never been to a better dentist. Absolutely worth the time and money, don't let an unexplained bad review put you off.
