Having driven past so many times decided to give it a try. We took the dog and sat downstairs in a small seating area but I think there are more tables upstairs. We had afternoon teas, one sweet and one savoury but there was plenty of choice. The downstairs area is mostly an attractive deli and they sell some interesting things. Would happily return.
Lovely tea, coffee and cake. Child friendly and served gluten free cake so my son was catered for. Great selection and chutneys and jams etc in shop. Chilli farm no longer there though. Lovely new gift shop on site.
Nothing like how it used to be - a real shame. No cooked breakfast, ordered a latte and it arrived in a very small drinking glass with no handle! Too hot to hold. Had a sandwich, which among other things contained the thinnest slice of cheap supermarket ham I’ve ever seen. I could see through it! This place used to be busy all the time, it was a ghost town and it’s clear to see why. I won’t be returning.
A great place to have breakfast on a weekend. The cafe is in the top of the deli which is a converted barn like structure. Very picturesque with great views and staff. Well worth a vjsit if you are travelling up the A140 towards Diss or Norwich
Very disappointed. Drove out from Bury St Edmunds after looking at reviews. It seems the chilli farm no longer exists even though the website has not been updated. Staff unapologetic. Still a cafe with very small portions and really expensive. Cheese on toast was a tiny half slice of bread and latte in a small glass. Avoid
By the side of the A140 offering a good choice of deli foods: breads, cheese, pasta, pickles and preserves besides much else. The cafe is very good with excellent coffee and service. Welcoming and recommended.
Cafe has good selection of foods worth calling in on your way past. Very nice surroundings, feels bigger than it is. Recommend the sofa in the window. Staff very pleasant.
Lovely lunch when it was The Chilli Farm Went today 9/10 and very disappointed now under new name. My roll was cold possibly just out of the fridge it was chewy and tasteless. Won't be returning
High quality food and service in pleasant surroundings. Update 8th Oct 2019. My review is no longer relevant. Establishment has been refurbished renamed and the menu & pricing changed.
Delicious coffee with lovely gooey chocolate in..... What could be better than that? Ah yes, a coffee, a sausage sandwich, a lovely view and a friendly atmosphere, that's what.
