We passed by and decided we would have lunch here on the way back home. It looked like a really nice place to eat. My daughter needed the loo and couldn't hold it so I stopped and politely asked if we could use the facilities. Nope. Turned a distressed four year old girl with a full bladder away because 'house rules'. The waiter could see she was close to tears, and we could see the facilities right behind him but he persisted "paying customers only". Disgraceful. Didn't go back, nor would I if I was to pass by again.

Fantastic family run restaurant. Magnificent service, jolly good food and lovely setting. No request is too hard for them to deal with. Exceptional, especially considering how small this restaurant is. Never been in the evening, only lunch for both pleasure and business. Perfect for both.

Delightful bijou restaurant in Burchetts Green. Small, very friendly family run restaurant serving amazing food and delightful wines in a very cosy village setting. Staff able to suggest just the right wine to suit dinner choice. Log burners in the bar and restaurant areas added the extra touch. Thank you - a very memorable birthday meal.

We were there for the first time for Sunday lunch. The food was totally amazing. We have frequented many Michelin star restaurants of 1 and 2 star, and this was the finest one. Not just the food but also the service. Keith Talbot
