Came for a bite to eat and the place was welcoming and clean. The food was amazing. My hunters chicken was well made and came out hot. My fiancé's katus chicken looked really good and he couldn't stop raving about how tasty it was.
Attracted by the Sunday Lunch Roast special whilst in the area. Disappointing start why it is 3 stars, when drink and 2 food choices were unavailable. Friendly service. Beef Roast and Katsu Chicken was very tasty and arrived promptly. Very nice dining area inside.
Brilliant Pub, fantastic food and very friendly staff would highly recommend anyone to go here just for casual drink or dinner. They also have a darts team so the dartboard area is very good to play and with the World Cup being round the corner, I know where I’ll be going to watch the games and that is this Pub. Landlord is very very professional and a very friendly and welcoming Guy. 10 out of 10. Would recommend this pub
Lovely meal for a Baby Shower & let us decorate our table. Great chickpea curry
Food was nice and staff were friendly and attentive but pub was absolutely freezing. Almost everyone dining was in coats. Appreciate energy is expensive but there was an open fire that could have been lit and may have provided some warmth.
Had a fantastic Sunday lunch. Alex was all on his own serving behind the bar, clearing plates and serving food! but all throughout he reminded calm, professional and ensured that we were comfortable. Thank you so much!
The food was absolutely terrible. Advertised a steak night, however had no chips, no fries, no salad and no peppercorn sauce. We wasn’t made aware of the low stock until we saw the food placed infront of us. The food took 45 mins to an hour to just heat up some boiled potatoes and grill a medium rare steak. Revolting.
Decided to try this pub out. What a disappointment. Walked in at 19:20 and ask for table. Was told that kitchen closes at 20:00. My response was we still have time to order. We then went to order firstly no lasagne and was told that kitchen was running 40 minutes behind. Ordered nachos for starter. Paid and all good. About 30 minutes after order we’re told that they have no cheese for nachos. 10 minutes later they found some cheese but the nachos were so spicy but no mention of spicy on the menu. We waited for our mains for over an hour. Shocking. Don’t understand how this business actually survives and people still go there.
Went for food and a few drinks the service was excellent made us feel really welcome food was great didn’t have to wait long great atmosphere and friendly will be returning
Don't waste your money on the pie, it's size of your palm and cost £12.00. It did taste nice.
