Love this pub. Great location. Food is lovely hot fresh and nicely presented. Huge portions which is great for those with healthy appetites. 19 year old grandson did justice to his steak pie. It would be great though if they offered a smaller plate for those with smaller appetites. Would save waste. I only managed half of my neal although it was excellent.

This is a beautiful place to go. We spent New Year’s Eve there. It was fabulous, lovely food & great service. Couldn’t ask for more., been on other occasions too & always been more than happy. It’s highly recommended.

Probably the best steak pie I've had in a very long time. Meat was tender and perfectly cooked, just melts in your mouth. No mobile signal - this is good because once you get over the feeling of isolation, you realise you can enjoy your meal in peace!

Great food, lovely atmosphere. Portions are on the big side but thankfully they offer a reduced portion size for those who are not greedy. Drinks are expensive

Best sirloin steak I've eaten in years!!! Genuinely lovely! We were a large party and did expect a little more looking after (simple asking if we needed anything else or more drinks) apart from that all was lovely!!
