I often attend this chip shop for my meals, etc. Although today, as I approached the shop, the owner and the chef were stood chatting, looked me up and down in a disgust way. I stated that I wanted battered sausage, chips and small curry sauce. The owner then asked multiple times if it was a small curry sauce or a large, despite the fact that I had already stated. The meal came to £3.90, which is really good pricing but when I asked to pay on card, and told him that I couldn’t do contactless, he rolled his eyes and practically threw the card machine at me. Throughout all of this, he was more concerned about having a conversation with the chef rather than interacting with customers (me). Then, as he was wrapping up my meal, he asked if I wanted salt and vingegar. I asked for just salt, but as I answered, he had began talking to the chef again so clearly wasn’t concentrating, which was proven when I caught him coating my food with vinegar and salt. This for me wasn’t life threatening, I just dislike vinegar, but if someone were to have an allergy to an ingredient inside vinegar, this wouldn’t be suitable. Anyways, upon leaving the shop and walking home..in a state of anger from the experience that I had just had. I got home, plated up my food and began to eat. The first chip that I consumed, was frozen in the middle. Also, the curry sauce had thick clumps in, which i thought was onion or something alike but after having put it onto a chip and placing it in my mouth. It became apparent that it was a thick, clump of brown powder. To say the least, I am ridiculed by this entire experience and have to intent on going back.

Excellent as always tastes like fish and chips should. And there new fishcakes are perfect so tasty.
