Very fast service. Very tasty food & generous with the gravy. Lovely location. Acoustics of the restaurant isn’t great - bit noisy. But overall good experience!
What a beautiful place. We had the best roast dinner, crispy roast potatoes and melt in the mouth beef. I highly recommend a visit.
A decent pub with really good food and a decent range of drinks. The pub was very busy and it was a little bit difficult to order drinks at the bar, but that could be expected when the pub is full of people enjoying the sunshine.
Popped in for a drink as saw a sign on the roadside, lovely big carpark and big outdoor seating area, will pop back to try the food
We went to the Cricketers for a festive family and friends meal in the private room. The food was excellent. All the starters were lovely and generous. The turkey main was moist and thick cut. The vegetable sides were plentiful and really tasty. The puddings were amazing; a bit different, well presented. The pub was very busy with football and another function, but all the food arrived in good time and together with no mistakes. Took a while to get served at the bar and pay the final bill - and there was a bit of a mistake not deducting the deposit grr. I’d give 4.5 stars if I could!
Popped in for Sunday lunch and wow it was amazing! Great atmosphere and very tasty food! complements to the chef. Full of flavours and nicely presented. Will be coming back to try other dishes from the menu. Thank you for looking after us
Avoid this restaurant! The staff have major attitude issues, went here for a 50th birthday and only one guy was working in the restaurant, and one woman behind the bar she was on her phone the whole evening, the pub was quiet, so the service should have been exceptional we had to keep Going up to the bar multiple times to ask for things and for the plates and empty glasses to be cleared, only for the girl to look up from her phone to be rude each time!! They were shocked when we didn’t pay the service charge??! I will not be returning here again!!
Visited for Sunday lunch and wasn't disappointed. The pork belly was top notch, vegetables perfect and superb yorkshire pudding. Very reasonably priced with first class service. Please give it a try.
My friend took me there for a drink. I had a large glass of red wine, he had a beer. We paid almost £20. I can't say anything about the food, as we didn't eat anything and we left after we finished the drink. It was dark, but I saw the garden is a nice size. I don't think I would go back, not because I didn't like this pub, but it was just a little bit too expencive for me.
Nice place with friendly staff and a good menu.
