Have just got back from having Sunday lunch at The Cricketers. Best value meal I have had in a long time. Homemade pate with toast, Steak and Guiness pie and trimmings, apple tart and cream and all for just £7.95!. Piping hot. Pie packed with tender pieces of steak. The 2 young guys who were serving gave excellent service too. Definitely going again.

Not been in here for many years. It's really been refurbished to a good standard. Staff were lovely. Atmosphere was good.

Sunday lunch. Superb meal and fantastic value. Definitely be back!

Not much to look at from the outside however they do have an excellent range of real ales including Dark Star Hophead

Great food as always, you can't beat their steak and ale pie, home made for under £10. Friendly staff and also dog friendly as long as you eat on the right hand side of the bar.
