Our speciality is our own 100% hand-picked local crab meat, landed by local day boats then cooked and hand-picked by us right here on the quay. You won't find fresher seafood anywhere! Our chefs prepare all their own stocks from the freshest fish and shellfish and other locally sourced produce. Wow! A straightforward, but tasty menu... this food must be sampled. Warning: if you order the whole crab- be prepared for some rewarding work! Service is great- everything works well at this cosy little establishment... never change a thing. Thank you both for looking after us!
This was fantastic. Food was delicious, the service was friendly and helpful, and the overall atmosphere was so lovely. The best place for lunch in Salcombe. The crab fries are a must have side, and the mussels are a step above others I've had in the area. I recommend the Salcombe ale to wash it down. :
Best fish dishes I've ever eaten. Superb venue, great staff who knew the menu inside and out. Lovely selection of non alcoholic drinks as we're on the wagon. Even the music was great! Really cannot think of anything I would change

My beautiful lady took me here for a birthday treat. Taken to our table by Molly,she's great. The lovely Emma came to us and explained the menu. We both had the whole crab to crack and pick ourselves. Swapping chips for salad was no problem. Glad we did because the salad was yum. Crab wonderfully cooked and prepared. Took us over an hour to completely demolish and devour the tasty crustacean. Highly recommend this place. Thank you Crab shed for a most memorable experience xx
Just lovely sitting outside in the sun looking at the estuary while eating the most delicious, fresh seafood... the crab linguine was off the charts as was the fresh crab & the crab fries - so lucky to have been twice while we were away.
Great place, very friendly staff who where focused and pleased to help. Dog friendly. Small space but well run. Prices on the high side but so is the quality. Especially recommended on a sunny day. Prawns were a favourite of our group. Crab well cooked. Chocolate pud with Mango sorbet was not too large and a lovely end to the meal.
Great food. Quick service. We had the crab linguine delightful and crab salad awesome. Will definitely visit again. Bookings essential but if you show up in the 5pm-ish pre-dinner window, you can find a table reasonably easily. Large parking lot right next to the resto. Only complaint - 5gbp for a small bottled beer.
Best crab ever and excellent Sea Bass catch of the day. If you are in Salcombe do not miss this place. Nearly forgot, scallops caught two hours before, sweet.
