Honestly heard so many great reviews about this place so been eager for a while to try this place out!! I finally got around to getting over and I swear I wasn’t disappointed the food was sensational. Personal favourites The chicken satay, crispy seaweed and the honey garlic chicken !!
Delicious food and great service! After hearing so many good things about The Cotton House, I decided to book a table and try out for myself. With plenty of options to choose from their main menu or Pre-Theatre/Sunday menu, I went for the full three courses. To start, crispy pancake rolls - followed by shredded crispy chicken with egg fried rice, and to finish a mango sorbet. With a party of 5, everyone was commenting how tasty their food was. I was able to take-away any food I didn’t quite manage to finish, which was great as I got to experience for the following days lunch. The restaurant interior is decorated very well and has a great vibe for any dining experience - from date night to family get together. A great experience, would highly recommend and can’t wait to plan another visit.
Food was excellent and hot....very quick service. The chicken satay starter was a stand out. Absolutely fantastic. Will be back again soon.
First visit to this restaurant, had heard good reports. The prawns in my prawn cocktail were warm as if they’d just been defrosted - very off putting. Best thing was my friends chicken satay starter and the noodle side dish. Main courses ok, big portions but food average. Very noisy unfortunately. Service was good and staff very pleasant. Disappointing as we’d travelled a fair bit.
Absolutely love this place, have never had a bad meal. I’ve sat in and had takeaways with no issues. Set menus are well priced with enough options. Service is great and staff are always helpful. Only issue is that parking could be better.
An easy 5 stars. The food, especially the pre theatre menu due to the price is amazing. I have been several times and it is the best Chinese within a vast surrounding area. *Selection on the menu- amazing *The food - mouth watering delicious try the Thai sensation, and also the noodles!! *The staff - excellent service, friendly, polite and curteous. *The restaurant - beautiful and intimate, ideal for a celebration or date night *The price - 100% value for the presentation and taste of the food. *The service - wow... talk about quick! And attention to detail. Your missing out if you don't try it!!
First time iv eaten here and would be the last. Ordered salt and pepper chicken and took a bite out to find out the chicken was actually prawns.... we had 2 small children and just imagine if any of us had an allergy to fish this would be completely diffrent but thankfully we didn't. Alerted the staff which apologised for it and to make up for this error we got the chicken balls "which we never even got" deducted from our bill. Thats unbelievable that they think this is a fair compromise. Would advise Any one to think again before going here and stick the the nice takeaway you are already using as if its not broke don't fix it. This place certainly isn't all its hyped up to be. Will also be contacting health and safety as someone could have died due to the careless attention they seem to be taking.
Have eaten in once and it was superb. But more regularly we it's our go to Chinese/Thai/Malay takeaway. They don't even deliver to our house, but it's 100% worth the drive. Highly recommend booking/ordering in advance, this place is incredibly popular, and rightly so
Good food, prompt service and very popular. Little chance of a table unless you reserve in advance which can be frustrating if, like me, you like to make your min up at the last minute. Does a roaring take away service too. Parking can be a challenge because it is so popular.Food: 5/5
Food is always so delicious. Lovely welcome and staff cannot do enough for you. Been a good few times and always excellent service Can't wait to return
