Came across this place by accident. Had never seen it before though we'd passed it so often. Thoroughly enjoyed lunch. Good choice of food, which was lovely and well presented. Nice place and good atmosphere. Worth a visit.
Amazing food, nice decor and immaculate in all places, very friendly and attentive staff too. I couldn't believe we only paid £26 for 1 starter 2 mains and 2 drinks and the quality was great my partner loved that her chicken burger was a grilled breast and not the fried breadcrumb you get in most places, peppercorn sauce was nicest I've had in a while
A big thank you to all the staff and patrons for such a warm welcome during my stay.nThe room was a perfect and I hope to revisit the next time I travel to see my granddaughter.
We spent the past two weekends here. Wonderful. Rooms are lovely beds comfy. Powerful shower and plenty of hot water. Room was on main road but was not really noisy and we had the windows opennAll staff very friendly. Real good breakfast. You must try the black pudding . Evening meals also good. Good choice. This is a hidden gem. Great if you want to tour this part of Scotland
Delicious food, great prices. Friendly atmosphere nWe ate outside in the beer garden.nOnly criticism was that tables were dirty and were not being cleaned between customers. Disappointing!nOtherwise this would be 5 stars.
