Honestly heard so many great reviews about this place so been eager for a while to try this place out!! I finally got around to getting over and I swear I wasn’t disappointed the food was sensational. Personal favourites The chicken satay, crispy seaweed and the honey garlic chicken !!
Delicious food and great service! After hearing so many good things about The Cotton House, I decided to book a table and try out for myself. With plenty of options to choose from their main menu or Pre-Theatre/Sunday menu, I went for the full three courses. To start, crispy pancake rolls - followed by shredded crispy chicken with egg fried rice, and to finish a mango sorbet. With a party of 5, everyone was commenting how tasty their food was. I was able to take-away any food I didn’t quite manage to finish, which was great as I got to experience for the following days lunch. The restaurant interior is decorated very well and has a great vibe for any dining experience - from date night to family get together. A great experience, would highly recommend and can’t wait to plan another visit.
Food was excellent and hot....very quick service. The chicken satay starter was a stand out. Absolutely fantastic. Will be back again soon.
Wow. Amazing. This restaurant always has a busy car park and now I know why. It is also popular for takeaways. We had the pre-theatre menu. The Asian Salad was amazing, the duck tasted wonderful and the sauces were great. The pancake roll was good. We had prawn toast at the same time, which was a very generous sized portion, more like a deep fried prawn sandwich. Lovely, though. I had a Malaysian Potato Curry for the main course. Other half had a very tasty salt and chilli chicken. The onion rings were huge. Unfortunately, I forgot to take a photo of these. To finish, we both had Mango and Passionfruit Cheesecake with cream and ice cream. Just lovely and well presented. We took a large part of our main course home and had it for lunch the next day.
Absolutely love this place, have never had a bad meal. I’ve sat in and had takeaways with no issues. Set menus are well priced with enough options. Service is great and staff are always helpful. Only issue is that parking could be better.
An easy 5 stars. The food, especially the pre theatre menu due to the price is amazing. I have been several times and it is the best Chinese within a vast surrounding area. *Selection on the menu- amazing *The food - mouth watering delicious try the Thai sensation, and also the noodles!! *The staff - excellent service, friendly, polite and curteous. *The restaurant - beautiful and intimate, ideal for a celebration or date night *The price - 100% value for the presentation and taste of the food. *The service - wow... talk about quick! And attention to detail. Your missing out if you don't try it!!
Have eaten in once and it was superb. But more regularly we it's our go to Chinese/Thai/Malay takeaway. They don't even deliver to our house, but it's 100% worth the drive. Highly recommend booking/ordering in advance, this place is incredibly popular, and rightly so
Tasty food, nice surroundings, efficient staff, well presented meals. Fair price. Sorry its not a 5; however, I had the barbecue ribs as a starter and out of the 3 ribs, 2 of them had near enough no meat . Very tasty and I may have just been unlucky. The sambal chicken was nice, noodles were amazing, 6 small prawns didn't really fill me up. I left and within an hour I was still pretty hungry . Unfortunately didn't get a desert as had to leave quickly, but I still think I wouldn't have been full. Apologies its not a 5 star, though I am being honest. Future wife enjoyed hers 10/10. The food is excellent and the staff are friendly. Would definitely recommend it!
Good food, prompt service and very popular. Little chance of a table unless you reserve in advance which can be frustrating if, like me, you like to make your min up at the last minute. Does a roaring take away service too. Parking can be a challenge because it is so popular.Food: 5/5
