My third time at this nail place. I recently moved in the area and really wanted this place to work for me. All three visits were total disasters I’ve been having my nails done for years and have never experienced such an inexperience technician. Went back twice to show how awful my nails looked after a week and she never even offered any refund instead l had to pay another £40 to make it right. I have been using this salon since 2018, and I would like to give a balanced review. I have been a loyal customer because it is a convenient place for me. They often manage to provide me with an appointment at the very last minute. I rarely need to wait more than 5 minutes before work starts on my nails; I am out of the shop within 30 minutes for infill and less than an hour for a new set. Fast and efficient is something I appreciate. On one occasion over the last few years, I needed a nail to be repaired, and the repair was done rapidly with no charge. In the transition between finishing one client and welcoming a new one, the shop can get a little crowded. But what I like is that my nails look nice and sharp for at least 3 to 4 weeks, depending on if it was a new set or an infill; the new set stays nicer for longer. The Pricing is very competitive and makes it possible for me to have nice nails.Services: Pedicure

Really disappointed with the customer service, particularly when these nails were for my hen do. I had booked but it was very busy, had two different people doing my nails at different times. I had already asked the price prior to my appointment and told it was £30. But when it was time to pay I was left sitting there, ignore whilst the person working on my nails went to someone else. They then told me it was more than £30 when they had not made this clear to me! I had even asked for a price list before my appointment and they didn’t send me so I had £30 as they do not take card. She then told me that she said it was from £30 but this is not what she told me as I would have got more out. I apologised as I only had £30 on me, then I was ignored again and then she said very rudely and short, bring the £3 next time you come! I was honestly so shocked and upset at how she had spoken to me and how I was made to feel. When I left, I said goodbye and again completely ignored by her and she was sat by the door. Terrible way to treat your customers and make them feel like that. After living and working in West Malling for a very long time, I completely shocked by this service- I will not be returning!Service: Manicure

Cottage Nails are so lovely. I popped in just to have my gel removed as they were peeling and they kindly gave me a gel removal, shaped them and clear polished them for a really reduced price; they were so accommodating, and always do such a polished job. Thank you.Service: Manicure

I went there end of June for pedicure and manicure. Since one of my hand nails was weak and breaking, I said that I just wanted a pedicure. The woman who serviced me advised that I do powder nails and said that they will strengthen my nails. Little did I know what a barbaric treatment that was! After taking them off three weeks later, all of my nails are breaking, splitting and hurting. I feel very cheated as she convinced me that the treatment was going to actually make them stronger. Will never use them again even if the location is so convenient.Service: Manicure

Terrible service. Very rude. When they get it wrong. They say it’s your fault. I have been using this nail bar for 2 years. A A week ago I had acrylic in fills. The next day my first acrylic nail polish peeled off. The 2 nd day another peeled over. I rang to make an appointment today. I went in with 6 nails that the varnish had peeled off and a toe nail. Seeing as I’m a Good customer and always give £5.00 tips for fingers and £5.00 for toes. I couldn’t believe how rude the woman was. Saying I should have come back on first day. I work and don’t live I said I elive nr bye. She said tstart going to a local one then. I don’t think they realise I’ve recommended them to over 10 friends who all go. None of us will be using them again. She started ranting about me in Vietnamese and ignored me when I was explaining that having had 6 nails fall off I was coming in to get re painted. Completely ignored me. My friend who owns the local boutique said they were rude to her and has told her clients to go to the other places in west malling. Disgusting. Been going since they opened last experience was awful had full set of acrylics one snaped the next day gel lifting so I messaged on instagram got told the times they could fit me In we agreed on a time I arrived was then told CANT DO YOU NOW TO BUSY I said oh sorry you told me to come at this time she said no I didn’t it was totally embarrassing arguing with me at the door I just walked out in the end . they book them selfs up way to much you have people arriving when you are meant to have an appointment you are rushed will never return
