We had a superb family meal. The menu is so well considered for all dietary requirements and despite many of us not being vegetarian a fair few of us opted for those options and all the dishes were amazing. What a fantastic place and compliments to the chef for locally produced food with lots of vegetarian options which were top notch! The staff were so friendly and lovely made it a lovely atmosphere.
Ate here on Friday 28th March whilst on a short break. Recommended by local friends and we can see why. Excellent food, atmosphere and staff. With farming having such a tough time it's good to see a pub so strongly and rightly promoting local food which seems to be a rarity now. Great venue.
Stopped here for lunch en route . It's a charming old thatched pub. Fabulous food, attentive service and superb atmosphere. Faultless really and thoroughly deserving of its great reputation. Will definitely return.
Incredible food! Came here because of the age of the pub and the food reviews. Was not disappointed. Friendly service, incredible food and wine suggestion.
There were 7 of us for lunch on Saturday afternoon . The service , Menu and the Host were excellent . The food was amazing and we were made to feel very welcome. Would definitely return and recommend . I can't score the rooms as we didn't stay over . The whole team deserve a big thank you from us . We had a fab time - loads of car park space , great garden . !!
