My wife and I were looking for a relaxing cup of decent tea after shopping. We know Butcher's Row in Barnstaple well and headed for it. The Tea Emporium was a pleasant surprise, being a recently opened new business. There are only a few tables but it was just what we needed. This place serves a wonderful range of teas and coffees to take home, together with associated accessories. The tea we had was loose leaved and perfectly brewed. It went down well with the saffron cake! If you are in Barnstaple, visit this local business, it really sits well in Butcher's Row and the range of real tea and coffee available is excellent. We will be returning.
We stumbled up on this delightful little tea room by sheer accident. We stayed over an hour just relaxing with our fresh blended coffee and fragrant tea. The most amazing lady runs this tiny tardis of flavours from round the world. She welcomed us and our little dogs who also received a treat on a lovely saucerand stayed to chat with us. She has her own blends of teas and coffee and if you mention your flavour preferences she could astound you with her choice. We are going back for more supplies to take home. She also posts orders by telephone.
A delightful room, the wall are filled with shelves, the shelves are filled with tins holding an incredible variety of teas and coffees from around the world. The peanut butter squares are delicious, the service is friendly and the prices are small. Wonderful.
Delightful Emporium with personal service, teas, coffees and tisanes in pots and cafetieres, very reasonably priced to take home. Plastic free packaging, biodegradable. Stocks I believe over 150 varieties, all personally sourced and approved.
Lovely tea shop that also has an expertise in coffee. You can smell the leaves/beans before you choose and the owner was very friendly and welcoming.
Lovely little tea shop and cafe. An amazing selection of teas and coffees. Just a lovely place to explore or sit and relax.
