Typical Spoons establishment in a lovely old building with interesting original decor and features. Staff were helpful and polite whilst being rushed off their feet trying to keep up with delivering "app only" orders. 20mins wait was excessive even by Spoons standards! Food very good though
Good food, well priced! Good covid precautions and one way system in place although replacing your cup for every coffee as requested seems counter-productive. Nice friendly and welcoming staff. Clean toilets and a nice warm fireplace!
Spent two days in Bristol seeing family, and visited The Commercial Rooms on both days for breakfast. Mike served us on both occasions and was a Ray of sunshine! Nothing was too much trouble and he looked after us all with professionalism and humour!..would definitely recommend you visit here...food was amazing too!
Another great Wetherspoons experience, great use of an historic building but bit of a botch job on the paint work, left hand side of the bar
Been twice in two days, first day had a couple beer and was great. Covid restrictions and rules were fab. However as a result of the doors needing to be kept open the place is freezing cold... went on the second day in Bristol and had breakfast. And sad to say the breakfasts were stone cold.
The food is amazing as always. I had breakfast and it was amazing well done!!!! You have lots of choices as they have Vegan meals as well
A really repulsive experience! The room was freezing cold. It is also extremely noisy due to the size of the room. The food took ages to arrive. My wife's steak was burnt and cold. My food was well cooked but stone cold. I said we could not eat it and was offered a full refund which we accepted and then departed.
Great building. Pub has kept many original features
Staff very good, had food there which was warm not hot, clean and tidy
