Really mixed bag with the service. Came mid week with a couple of friends, it was very busy and had great veggie fry up and we were quickly served and food came promptly. But... been on my own a number of times at the weekend for just a coffee and had to wait ages for not only service but coffee.
Sat outside on a beautiful day. Very pleasant. Food was delicious. I had the mushrooms on toast. It was a very generous plateful. I can't wait to return. Highly recommended
Came in for a Saturday breakfast and was blown away! Beautiful location tucked away, delicious food and lovely staff! A brilliant little spot for tea, lunch or breakfast alike. Will 100% be coming back again
Friendly tea house in central Steyning. A good range of vegan meal options and the vegan cakes looked delicious and home made. We went for the mushrooms on toast, which they were able to make vegan, and were absolutely lovely. Would thoroughly recommend, although a vegan option for the jacket potatoes would be good
Lovely wee place set in a historic cobbled alley, with small, independent shops beside it. Lovely staff, wholesome and plentiful food and good coffee to boot!nnThe full English is HUGE! I tried my best but couldn't finish it
