Southern Co-op is a large, independent co-operative society operating in 11 counties across the south of England. We have been owned and traded by people across the southern region for over 140 years with our main business being food, where we have a network of over 200 stores.
We work hard to provide the best in fresh, delicious food with high standards of service to our customers but we’re also really committed to making a genuine difference to our local communities. What is the point of having a Post Office if the Co-op Store doesn't have any envelopes, bubble packs etc to post things in.  

Appalling service with each blaming the other and no-body taking responsibility!  

Logistics and had office - you are placing your staff in a very unfair position where they are taking the flak for your incompetence.

Over priced on everything but their milk. The 'freshly baked in store' is only freshly baked at 07.00 then the cakes, pastries and bread are left uncovered until closing at 23.00! Most certainly not fresh after a few hrs and   a good sprinkling of dandruff, dust, coughs, sneezes, kids fingers oh yuk! The morning
 staff used to be not a cheerful way to start your day they were the most moaning, miserable people to be served by with your morning newspapers, magazines on your way to work.
The shop itself doesn't really have much stocked in it. They stock the P's pies, pasties, pizzas, processed meat and pastries (depending on what time of day or if you dare) Bottles of wine, cans of beer and cider, a few bottles of spirits, some mixer drinks. No good if you want a gin and tonic but don't like slimline tonic water though. If your driving to the shop then it's a lot lot less expensive with more of what you need to pop into Asda up the road, for the small amount of fuel used it still works out more money in your pocket. I've saved loads not popping in there and that's in just a few months. They don't stock Best of Both milk. Their offers aren't really offers as they're over priced so an offer usually means buying it at the normal price anyway! The evening staff look like they don't want to be there. I doubt they do but as a customer you really don't want to know it!. Convenience Store, not really.
