Lovely restaurant! My boyfriend and I decided to stop for lunch after we saw so many good reviews and we haven't been disappointed! The atmosphere is cozy and elegant at the same time, I loved the way they furnished the venue. The food was great, we had the fried calamari and the mussels and … wow, everything was great! We had the steak and flatbread as mains and were delicious. A big thanks to our waiters Harry and Milly, who made our experience absolutely perfect! Highly recommended!

What an absolutely amazing place. Great atmosphere, beautiful vibe, lovely staff. Table was ready on arrival and the wait between courses was nice and short. Lovely first time here. Warm welcome by all staff. Risotto - finally a restaurant that served this to us on a warm plate ! Goats cheese & beetroot, it was excellent & warm to the last mouthful. Our other choices were all very good, presented well & the tasty Chablis cold but disappeared far too quickly, lol - but another bottle helped us through !! Perfect size servings, giving us the choice to do 3 courses. Tarte tartin & creme brulee hit the spot. And I must mentioned the parmesan truffle chips - a definate whatever your food choices !! Very highly recommended

Cosy restaurant with fabulous food, beautifully presented in good sized portions. The chocolate fondant with pistachio ice cream is a truimph! Great service, comprehensive coctail/drinks menu and wine list. Prices high for the area, hence 4 stars.Food: 5/5

Our first visit to this wonderful restaurant. We started our meal with two large glasses of wine, followed by the roast beef Sunday roast with a side dish of cauliflower cheese. We then had a dessert each followed by two coffee's to finish our meal. The staff were all attentive and polite and we never felt rushed. The cleanliness of the whole restaurant was very impressive too. We were lucky to park directly outside although our visit was on a Sunday. The nearest parking weekdays is opposite in the Tesco car park. We were happy the pay £77 for two due to the high quality of all the food we were presented with. Very good value for the money. Excellent all round dinning experience. We will certainly be returning.

First time dining at Chophouse and our table all loved the food. The steak was one of the best I've eaten out. A local restaurant with a great atmosphere and great service. Most restaurants these days add on a service charge and surprisingly they didnt. We wpuld always tip regardless but it is always good to have the option! I'd like to thank the manager Louise who resolved a small issue that occurred after I left the restaurant. She was very professional. I look forward to returning again soon!

Absolutely superb, never disappoints. Went for dinner last time and had the Chateaubriand and it is honestly the best steak I’ve ever had. The food is consistently excellent, the service is brilliant too and there’s always a warm and great atmosphere here. Only criticism is I wanted more Chateaubriand! We will definitely be back again soon and can’t wait for our next meal!

Fantastic meal - again! Really lovely Sunday lunch dinner at 16:30. Went for the French onion soup, with partner and eldest choosing the scotch egg. All four of us then had the roast gammon which was delicious, with stuffing wrapped in bacon, excellent roast potatoes, red cabbage, green beans, swede and Yorkshire pud with a delicious gravy. Didn’t have room for dessert! Have been here lots of times - always fabulous service and good food. Thoroughly recommend. Parking: Has an agreement with local Tesco to get passes for their car park if using the restaurant.

Fantastic Sunday lunch, kids burgers were great too. Great service, attentive, happy and friendly staff and a lovely atmosphere in the restaurant

We went here as we was visiting my mother in law so we arn’t local, however we will most def be visiting this place again. The staff are really friendly and they even allowed me to bring my little puppy in with us. The roast dinner was one of the best I’ve ever had and I love roast dinners, but this was really up there. Kid-friendliness: Really lovely I had my son and he’s 6 they was very accommodating
