Came across The Chequers by chance. What a cracking pub. Enjoyed a lovely warm Turkey, Cranberry and Stuffing sandwich, with a warm homemade roll. Menu looked really good too. Looks a well used pub and was busy even on a Saturday afternoon.
Lovely warm atmosphere, very cosy place. Unfortunately on this occasion we had to ask 3 times to order food and service times where slow. When the food came though, it was lovely, 5 star on the food!
Had a lovely lunchtime meal with my partner before checking into our hotel a short distance away the pork and venison scotch egg was cook perfectly would definitly return if ever in the area again as we had travelled from Silverstone.
