Story

Here at Slug & Lettuce Worthing, not only do we offer good food and drink in a pleasant atmosphere, but we have several areas that you can hire for different functions: be it a birthday, engagement, works do or a business meeting, the areas you can hire will suit your needs.

This is part of the large national chain, and it took over a pub which had had problems in the past. It now looks better and offers great value drinks and food. I've been for cocktails on a Friday night and meals on a Sunday. Always happy with the service. Just missed out on having 5 stars because they had no decaffeinated tea or coffee available yesterday afternoon. I ended up with a glass of water instead!

There are 2 sides to this place. One is pre 7 on a weekend when you can enjoy reasonably priced food in a chilled out environment. They other is when it's packed and has a buzzing atmosphere though you struggle to get served. Don't mix the 2 up and you will have a really nice time

Bad experience after booking a table for firework night and being charged an upfront fee of £35 to book the table. The food was cold possibly understaffed in the kitchen. I think the waiters were cooking the food. We were really disappointed and they deducted some off our bill but still had to pay £15 so still paid £45 and the kids didnt get their puddings. Wish we just stuck to the street food would of saved ourselves £30.
