Replaced clutch in bafang mid drive motor. Second time used this shop , helpful .Reasonable price considering complexity of job .Would recommend as many bike shops won't undertake repairs on bikes they haven't sold you.This chap has great knowledge. Nice to know there is a repair shop local that you can depend on .
Little quality for big prices. £220 for brakes and a puncture to be fixed, with a new controller. Brakes faded within 2 months and just gotten another puncture, this Is whilst babying the scooter. Not to mention he replaces my thumb throttle with a bike throttle, which in returnnhas replaced my speedometer with a battery metre for a 36V battery, not a 48V battery that my scooter possesses. Better yet, went to his shop not long ago asking him about the battery metre and he told me, that I had to buy the part for him to fit to the scooter.
Absolutely brilliant service got a quote for my bike fixed from a bigger company of 190 pound Chain Station did the same job for 90 quid amazing saving will always use here from now on and would highly recommend checking them out after getting a quote elsewhere
Rear tyre puncture to repair or replace. New tyre if needed. Insert gel to front and rear tyres. Bike booked in for over a week. Dropped off as arranged with 5 days lead time. Not touched by the Wednesday, closed Friday. The shop is not as shown on Google but is synonymous with the service. Then stood and watched me struggling to put the bike in the car. I’m 71 years old Ignorant, unhelpful, unreliable are words that spring to mind. BEWARE.
Closed @ 10:30 says open @ 10. It looked like it was permanently closed by the look of the outside of the shop. Asked at the bus stop if they knew anything. Was informed he's a b****r to catch. Never really open. On my way to Alnwick now to The Bike Shop.

I have 2 electric bikes, I'm a carer and I work all over my area, I often visit The Chain Station with problems I have with my e bikes and he can fix everything! Great workmanship! Reasonable prices and swift service! I would highly recommend this shop to anyone who owns an e bike!

Very helpful with a good range of bikes for sale but mainly a repair shop with very reasonable prices. Repairs are speedy depending on his workload and your requirements.
