My wife & I stayed at The Maindee Bed & Breakfast after having been recommeded it by our friends who had recently stayed there.  I can honestly say that they weren't wrong.  We received a warm welcome from Jo & Lee; the rooms were clean and fresh and the lovely cooked breakfast set us up for the day.  It was a lovely place to stay whilst exploring the local area and I have no hesitation in recommending Maindee to anyone visiting mid Wales.

Beautiful guest house in scenic surroundings. I stayed here recently with my husband and daughter for a weekend break and really liked it. The house has been recently renovated and was really comfy, perfect for our needs. The owners were very friendly too - I can recommend the cooked breakfast.

I have never felt compelled to write a review before but after staying at Maindee B & B in Builth, I just had to write a review to say what a wonderful experience I had.  Jo & Lee (the couple who run the B & B) are very friendly and knowledgeable about the local area.

The B & B has been recently renovated to a high standard, my room was clean and modern,  I definitely think they are under charging for the service that they provide.

So if you want a friendly place to stay in Builth or near the Brecon Beacons then I would highly recommend booking in at Maindee B & B, you certainly won't regret it.

Fantastic stay. My friend and I stayed at Maindee whilst cycling in mid wales for a few days. Great room, lovely breakfast, awesome hosts. Will come again (hopefully this year!). James

Having recently stayed at the Maindee B & B I would thoroughly recommend it. The hosts offer a warm and friendly welcome and the accomodation offers true value for money.
