As usual, our visit to this lovely old hotel/pub, was great even with a change of ownership 6 months ago. The beer was good - and the food was excellent. Thai and British menu I thought might have been a challenge, but no, it was very good too. Well done Chef ☺. The decor is a little tired, but it was clean and tidy. After a longish day on the showground everything was just what the doctor ordered.

Just had an amazing Thai curry here today, the chef is an amazing guy , comes to your table asks you how you would like it , defiantly worth a try .

We enjoyed our stay. Room 1 was excellent , the best beds and linen ever. Shower door not good and couldn't quite understand why no curtains in the bathroom only paper stuck on with blue tac !!!!! Our welcme was lovely, Thai meal excellent and a wonderful breakfast. Would stay again in same room .hopefully heated in the winter !
