Food is second to none, restaurant quality. Cosy atmosphere, feels very welcoming. Staff are extremely friendly and polite. Set in a stunning location. Would highly recommend a visit
Very rude barman. Manners cost nothing I appreciate it's not the season but it's a heritage site and would of liked to of seen a bit of history. Apart from that beautiful castle.
The guys have done a fantastic job bringing the pub back to life. The new team are incredibly welcoming and friendly. Such a great menu. Highly recommend.
Was surprised to see the refurbished pub.Shame it's lost it's atmosphere. It used to be a great.No pool or music.Need to get rid of the weed smell outside

I came here on my 25th birthday with the intention of heading out after a while, but we had such a boss time we all stayed until close. The staff were welcoming and they made my birthday one to remember! Thank you to Dawn and to Stefan for a truly brilliant experience. Best pub in Runcorn hands down!
Beautiful cream tea in gorgeous surroundings. Never had cream tea in a castle before. Friendly hosts and lovely family atmosphere. Made to feel very welcome. Would absolutely recommend to everyone.
Exelent meal and sevice will go again
