This bar is magical, a must visit when you're in Lovely Runcorn. Amazing town and some great people out here. The Barley Mow Issavibeeeeee as my little sister would say.
Had a party for my daughter's birthday at the Barley Mow beer garden, very spacious, play area for the kids, outdoor stage, their DJ was amazing, great selection of songs and Karaoke! Would highly recommend! Was a great day, guests commented on how great the venue is, staff were very helpful and friendly, would definitely book for a party there again! Thank you for having us
Just looks scruffy all the time, nice people and nice selection of drinks but it's outdated needs alot of work done to it and the fact I was crammed in the other week cos half of it was sectioned off due to the roof caving in! This is not really safe at all as if that had caved in there is a chance alot of people could of been hurt should this not be an emergency job and be sorted before letting the public in this area?

Excellent atmosphere, helpful & very polite staff. Great nights , especially when Karaoke is on. Would definitely recommend.
It's OK. Not a bad little pub. Beer is Not expensive. Can get loud and lively at the weekend when they have karaoke on.
Had a beautiful Sunday dinner. It was that nice I got a take out of another Sunday dinner for my partner. Kids had a nice meal as well. Loved the beer garden with the swings and slide. Xxx
Cheap pints and the food is to die for, the kitchen staff make the absolute best food in Runcorn. Juicy, tender and cheap, absolutely get yourself down here you won't regret it
Tipical old town pub. A little past it's best and in need of a good makeover. Althoght this pub is in the centre of the town the building itself is also pass its best. On the good side the staff are very frendly and make you feel welcome. The night I went they had food provided, witch would put a lot of other establishments to same. One final point that can catch you out. They only acsept cast no cards. If you do find yourself a little short, don't panic you are only five minutes from several banks all with cash machine's.
Lovely friendly pub and good food. Sunday carvery very nice, get plenty of meat. Chatted with the locals who made you feel very welcome. Would definitely go again.
