We booked our office Christmas party at the Casa hotel, from start to finish we were impressed. Jasmine looked after our booking needs and nothing was too much trouble even with a couple of dietary requirements in our party. The venue was beautifully decorated and had a lovely atmosphere. The food was hot and cooked to perfection, little touches like our menu on our name places was a good idea so everyone knew what they had ordered. We would definitely consider booking again for next year
Terrible experience and customer service from this hotel, would not recommend Booked our stay around a year in advance as we were going to a wedding nearby. They were aware of the wedding we were going to we used code during checkout to identity this. We arrived back from the wedding around 11:40pm. They had a wedding reception at the hotel themselves and they put us essentially above where the party was happening, despite members of that wedding party being placed on the opposite side where you cannot hear this - we were told this by other members of our group. It was very loud and because of this could not get to sleep. When we spoke to the manager, he told us we would have to wait an hour and that we shouldn’t be complaining as we got in late and had been at a wedding ourselves... He told us that he could not move us to a different room. There was no apology, offer of compensation and he was rude the entire interaction. When you’re paying for a room in a hotel, it doesn’t matter what you time you come in or where you’ve been before. You’re not paying to be told you can’t sleep and that’s how it is. In the morning reception staff were unable to help us and there was no offer to take on our feedback and again no offer of compensation. They told us to send an email as that’s all they could do at this time. They then ignored our emails and did not respond at all despite trying to find a resolution. ----- As you can see from their reply, there is no apology for the rude interaction with the manager, no mention of getting in contact for compensation and no mention of them ignoring emails.
We stayed at the hotel, having a few drinks before we went out for the evening and Breakfast the following morning. The room was nice, the bed was comfy and very big, which was great. However, the whole hotel is looking abit tired and is need of some renovations. The breakfast was reasonably good, unusually, the hot food wasn't a buffet, consequently, I didn't eat as much as I would have liked to.
I stayed over at the Casa with some family the night before my wedding! It was a lovely stay and the staff were helpful and friendly . The rooms were lovely and comfortable and clean and had everything I needed. Breakfast was lovely too! Jasmine was so helpful getting everyone booked in and changing rooms etc for wedding guests. On arrival I was even asked if I wanted to move to another room because of a party going on that evening so was offered a room away from the party. Would recommend this hotel!
I challenge anyone to find a better stay so close to London for £58 per night. The hotel itself is an old building with tonnes of character. It is easily accessible for the M4 with plenty of parking right outside the entrance. Upon arrival, I was greeted by friendly and professional staff that checked me in speedily and I was in my room minutes after arriving. No incidentals deposit is required and you can pre-purchase a cooked breakfast for £9.95. The room was very clean and fresh with an en suite. The bedding was fresh and great quality, with plenty of pillows. The shower is great, with free mini toiletries to freshen up. The room is very quite and slept without disturbance. Breakfast is served from 7am on weekdays, and is very good quality. With a range of hot drinks available. The staff serving breakfast were equally as polite as the check-in staff. Thank you to Arnia for making breakfast a pleasant experience. I would highly recommend staying here for a short break.
It's a decent hotel at a decent price, we only stayed here whilst passing so don't know much about the area, The room was fine a standard hotel feel, it was a fair trek away from the entrance up and down many stairs and long corridors, It was pretty stinky in the hallway to our room but the room was fine. Comfy bed and clean room.
Excellent hotel, lovely accomodation, really good customer service, brilliant food in the Italian Restaurant and equally good food for breakfast. Only let down is the shower room 5 Little more than a dribble. Would definitely stay again and would recommend to others. Thanks for a great stay
Really good accessible bathroom and good space in the room for the wheelchair. Expensive at £100 for each room as the hotel is really dated. Had a bath and the shower kept dripping then turned the shower on to rinse off and the water went everywhere except on my body!! Had room service calamari and bread assortment with balsamic vinegar and olive oil. The bread was tough, the calamari was unseasoned and cold. The lift is awful, my daughter has cerebral palsy and was terrified of it. It made a lot of noise and shuddered a lot but, with the age of the hotel we were lucky it was there!
We held our wedding here in October 2022 and the team at Casa gave us a perfect day. From our initial venue visit back in January 2020 the warm welcome we had from the staff and meeting the Casa's wedding specialist Jasmine Cole who had such a good knowledge of what would work for the wedding we required and was able to give helpful suggestions we knew this was the venue for us. We booked our October 2022 date back in February 2020 prior to lockdown. Over the 2 year period leading up to our wedding Jasmine was able to answer any queries we had and keep us updated on any changes to the venue that may have arisen. As we got into the year of the wedding we had frequent contact with the team and Jasmine to keep all aspects of planning up to date and on track any changes we wanted to make or check on were speedily replied to and advice given whether it was possible. We booked rooms for myself and the bridal party for the night before the wedding and got ready at the venue this made the morning an enjoyable and stress free experience and Jasmine and the team came up regularly to keep me updated on the progress of the morning and registrars arriving so I did not have to worry about missing my pre wedding interview the morning of the wedding was handled so well be by the staff that we had the Brides entrance as the first time anyone saw her on the day so the dress etc had the effect wanted. The wedding breakfast was delicious and a lot of our guests have told us how much they enjoyed the food and how helpful all of the staff were Courtney the team gave us a fantastic day. We booked DJ Steve as part of our package and he read our crowd so well the dance floor was never empty and any of us sang and danced so much we lost our voices for a few days. The whole day was absolutely perfect and we would definitely recommend the Casa to anybody looking for a wedding venue.
We choose to attend the Christmas day carvery lunch at the Casa Hotel. What a mistake! The carvery was served in their large event room, very bright, no atmosphere, with no decorations to speak of, it was exactly like being at a very empty wedding reception. There was zero ambience, we could have been having lunch at a motorway service station. We had to attend the bar ourselves, and choose drinks from a sticky menu. It was just tacky. I walked in, as we’d been to the restaurant before, so was astonished to be ushered into this devoid room and my heart sunk, as it was super expensive and the least Christmassy place I'd seen. I just wanted to turn around and go home, but we had no food in the house, so had to make the best of a bad situation. plus we'd paid upfront! I emailed to feed back the next day, to the lovely Jasmine, the wedding coordinator who had been so helpful and the Manager, a very elusive Mr O’Brien, who choose to correspond anonymously, did come back to me, in effect blaming my very disappointing experience on the fact I did not interrogate his staff on how the carvery would be hosted... My first experience of literal gaslighting from a venue, so sadly we won’t be going back.
