Fantastic pub. Great beer and lovely hotel rooms. Staff are the best I've ever come across in a pub and I've been to a lot of pubs right across the UK. Only downside in the hotel part was headroom but most people aren't as tall as me.
Great pints and tasty nibbles. Good range of cask ale on the bar and the bar snacks we had were superb, I will definitely be back to try the food properly. Back today for lunch, lovely food and great service. The avocado brunch and chips were delicious, the garlic and chilli dressing superb. They had run out of sourdough which I'd looked forward to trying, only slight disappointment but the meal was so good I can't take anything away from them. Pint of Timmy T's Landlord also superbly kept and that's a mark of a good cellar as it's not the easiest beer to serve well. Love this place, worth the ride over.

A lovely traditional pub which is the heart of the village. Delicious freshly cooked food which was served piping hot. This is a great place to take a dog as you can either sit outside or away from other diners in the library area. The staff were very friendly and eager to provide excellent service. Thank you to everyone for a lovely evening.
We stayed at the Carden Arms on a Friday night. The welcome was wonderful. What a lovely inn, beautifully restored and designed with a great ambience and a fantastic menu. The rooms were stylish, comfortable and everything from start to finish was superbly delivered.Rooms: 5/5
Great meal and very, very fun and friendly staff. Special mention due to the maitre d who, upon request, produced and solved a Rubix cube in 1min 19s to the delight of kids and adults alike. Very cool, cosy pub
What a gem on the three cycling trail around Tilston. Fabulous lunch stop with a good beer.
Booked dinner at this country pub as staying at Carden Park and didn't fancy paying extortionate prices and so glad I did. We were a party of 4 and couldn't fault any of our meals. We all had starters, mains and then shared desserts. Excellent food and great, friendly service, will be visiting again when up this way. Just a pity its too far from home to come regularly.
Such a good B&B with excellent food and lovely people working here. Room was comfortable and spacious at last a B&B with wardrobe and plenty of hangers! Modern well equipped bathroom Stayed a few nights around a nearby family wedding. Great base for tourism
