The only place to eat in Woolacombe ! Great breakfasts, excellent dinners and fantastic cream teas. Children's menu has a good selection and portion size is just right. Welcoming staff and quick service with great views of the bay from balcony and a lovley place to see the sun set.
Highly Recommended !

I visited the Captains Table on 22 April, with my husband & 2 friends, I paid my bill at the counter, & was about to leave when one of the staff told me I still had drinks I hadn't paid for, I explained that I had, & who I had paid my money too, but he didn't appear to believe me when I told him I had paid for my drink, & started to inform myself of drinks that hadn't been paid for, another member of staff came over & explained that it wasn't our table that had, had the drinks, there was no apology, he just grumbled that someone had had drinks they hadn't paid for.  You can rest assured I won't be visiting The Captains Table again, you probably don't care, word of mouth though is a powerful tool.  S.Durman

Best place to eat in woolacombe without a doubt. Great service, great food. Only downside is the door was left open sometimes which can cause a cold breeze.
