I went to the Captain's Table in Glengormley for lunch and I had to try the legendary Kings Envelope.  It's basically a calzone with kebab meat and chicken kebab.  I got a large one normal and extra large ones are also available.  I'm happy to say that it was great!  I really enjoyed it!  Next time I get one I will ask for extra sauce or mayo as a dip.  This would enhance it even further. After eating this I did not need anything else for the rest of the day.   My friend had salt and chilli chicken with chips which she really enjoyed.  The menu here is extensive so there is something for everyone.  I recommend you give it a try.

Best chippy about. Don’t have many pics but their scampi and chips is amazing, I really enjoy their pizzas too! Chippys in general are fairly expensive now but this place is fairly reasonable all things considered.nnDefo out chippy of choice atm!

Chicken curry, chips and rice is delicious and is a big portion. I usually have to get a take out box to take the remainder home for a scooby snack later. Hubby had the captains crunch box which was chips, chicken goujons, sausage, onion rings and pepper sauce. It was very nice. The pepper sauce was quite dark but very tasty. We always nip in here for food when in the area.

Always enjoy The Captain's Table. Food and service are excellent for a chippy. One thing would improve the experience - sqeaky clean table surface and cutlery. But this certainly won't put me off eating there again and again.

New doo! Definitely in line with their decor but who’s here for decor anyway; I’m her for the grab.nnWe grabbed a pasty bap always provided with some chips and a cod supper with the works. Two of the best fish you’ll get battered in Northern Ireland.nnFoods beaut if you sit in and fast but they do have a slight problem with giving ends of chips which for me is a complete waste but others who enjoy this; come on Down.
