Been a few times. Staff made you feel very welcome. Good friendly service. Prices a bit on the higher side but not OTT. Really busy when we've been but didn't have to wait long for food or service for drinks. We will continue to go.

I've found The Canny Man ideal if you're visiting Greenacres for a weekend of curling but want to get away from the ice rink for a bit. The menu has plenty of options and the groups I've visited with have all enjoyed their experience. I'd also advise you book ahead as it can get busy!

Great pub and restaurant. The staff are always to hand and very helpful, but never in your face loitering by your elbow. I don't use the bar but there are always quality cask beers and a number of more unusual blended whiskey on the gantry. Always a Malt o'the Month on offer. The food is fantastic and plentiful, there are always some dishes on special price lunch menu. The full restaurant menu is varied and caters easily for vegetarians and celiacs.
