The Buttermarket, an iconic grade 2 listed building, is Shropshire's biggest entertainment venue, comprising of three unique floors - The Cellars, Main Arena and VIP Mezzanine levels.

The venue hosts a range of live concerts and gigs, banqueting, conferences, comedy nights, nightclub promotions, cage fighting and many other entertainment activities.

The show with Ryan Evans was fabulous his guy totally deserves recognition fame and following his voice is tremendous. Fewer attendees than expected this was due the train tracks being hit by lightening kate Sunday afternoon. Never the less those who did manage to attend had a truly fabulous evening myself included.

Always love live music, this is a good venue, shame no real ales behind the bar, that would've suited me not all about me though, food is available on site, they seem to have a lot of events going on here, we certainly enjoyed our evening & will go again when our music genre appears again
I wanted to share my recent experience at the Frozen Party held at the Buttermarket in Shrewsbury. As a huge fan of the Frozen movies, I was thrilled to attend the event. The party was held in a spacious room at the Buttermarket, which was adorned with enchanting Frozen-themed decorations. There were numerous activities for children, including face painting, which added to the excitement. The highlight of the party was the appearance of Elsa and Anna. They were dressed in their iconic costumes and interacted with the children throughout the event. The children were overjoyed to meet their beloved characters and had a fantastic time singing and dancing with them. I highly recommend the Frozen Party at the Buttermarket to any families with young children. It's a wonderful way to celebrate the Frozen movies, and the children will undoubtedly have an unforgettable experience.
I went to see Jason Allan perform his first Shrewsbury show and it was the most incredible, unforgettable night of my life, when I got back to the hotel I was reflecting on the night 4 ages just tryna process what happened, and the venue was absolutely beautiful, I'm thinking of having my birthday party at the buttermarket next year, I'm missing this night already, the next morning I didn't wanna go back home, felt so sad to be going home, but I can't wait to come again soon.
Friendly, helpful staff at the venue. Great vibe and atmosphere Fleeting Rumours and a good choice of up and coming events on flyer. All drink choices were pretty poor though. V expensive and low quality which I didn’t expect as everything else was great.
Great venue, we did a glitter stall here for a Taylor Swift tribute act. Can't praise the staff and venue enough, absolutely bfilliant
My wife and i along with 8 friends went to the Glam Show at the Buttermarket at the weekend and we had a superb night, We brought teh VIP tickets on the early bird rate £22 pp and that gave a table and guaranteed seating area close to the bar. The band were ace and we all had a great night.
Great venue for an event. Been in during the evening for a gig and it was brilliant. Been during the day for a meal type event and it was not quite as good but still enjoyed it.
