Whilst on a respectable hen night in Shrewsbury we decided to finish the night at this nightclub. Whilst queuing outside we realised that our bags would be searched, therefore informed the female bouncer that we had 2 unopened non alcoholic drinks in our bags. She said we couldn't take them in-fair enough. We therefore decided to drink our drinks in the queue whilst waiting to go in. Somehow the bouncer felt that this was completely inappropriate behaviour and subjected us to a barrage of abuse that was completely uncalled for! Her arrogant, bullying behaviour would have been justified had we given her 'attitude' or 'abuse' but being 7 professional woman of a certain age we know how to talk to people and felt that she completely and utterly abused her position as a bouncer and was just on a 'power trip'! May we suggest to the bouncer that a job in an establishment which deals with criminals would benefit her 'people skills' better, not where the general public pay good money to go and have a good time!! Needless to say we had a great time elsewhere!!

We were seven 45 year old women on a night out in Shrewsbury.....teachers, nurses and a social worker. All was going well in the beautiful town until we decided to go for a dance in this club. As we tried to queue we were shocked by the attitude of the woman bouncer on the door. What a disrespectful conversation. If any of us would talk to our pupils/ patients in this way...we would be in the dole queue by Monday! I urge the manager to send your staff on a P.R Course asap.

Ok club, don't expect miracles. Normal tosser bouncers. I am pleased though they wiped out 'The Beach' and changed back to this. Was heaving back in 2012/2013. Just a shame it's now Shrewsbury only 'mainstream' club since they closed C:21 and Source Vodka Bar. :(

Avoid this place! Terrible bouncer at the door. Went crazy because we drank Lucozade in the que. Really abusive behaviour. We were a group of mums, all in our mid 40s, on a weekend away in Shrewsbury. Just concernced if this female bouncer did that to a young woman. If the bouncer can’t control her potty mouth, then she shouldn’t be working there.
