We received great attentive service, staff were friendly and chatty. We didn't wait long for our food. Our steak sandwiches were cooked to perfection, our waitress asked how we would like them cooked, which was a lovely touch. This chef knows how to cook steak, we had ours rare and they were so flavoursome. We also loved the bread, so delicious! Came with a nice side salad, chips and a pot of gravy, proper comfort food. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal.nWe will come again.
Popped in for a break, between meetings in the area, I was met by friendly staff and the food was lovely and arrived quickly. Thanks
Repeat visit looking forward to a Sunday Roast. Unfortunately the trio of roast meat seemed to be pre sliced & kept under a heat lamp. As all meats were incredibly dry & thinly cut. Considering the quality you can get at a nearby carvery for a smaller price it was disappointing. It's a shame as would like to be able to support places local to us. Despite this service was good
We went when it was The Chestnut and it was ok, as The Bull it was fab!, the staff were great the food superb, the menu varied and with great vegetarian options mixed in with the main menu.nWe had a tomato, avocado and a Philly cheese, the bread was fresh, the steak cooked perfectly and the best sweet potato fries.nWe will be back
We had our dad’s surprise 70th birthday drinks here we had about 60 people attend. From start to finish, making the enquiry to the afternoon the team here were amazing. Special thank you to Tom for being very accommodating and making the afternoon an amazing one
