A down to earth traditional pub in Crewe. Set amongst a multitude of takeaways and restaurants. There is another pub close by, but not sure if there's any others. Pool table and sport on the TV. I tried the Harviestown Brewery Stout, very good see photo attached. Would go back
To be honest, doesn't look like it has changed from when I was last in there in 2019, except there is more spaces between the tables and a screen at the bar. Would not be my choice of venue for a get together, but then again, everywhere on Nantwich Road seems to have that tatty, worn look. Plastic glasses don't help. Who in their right minds enjoys ale out of a plastic glass.
We have spent all night in this bar my partner went to the bar to get the last round and was asked he ordered rum and was asked if you want spice rum or normal room he came back to us to ask to check and he then went back as he once questioned we were served whisky and Coke not rum we are proud the bar staff to tell them they'd serve us wrong but they however said that we had run not whisky bar tasted both drinks and confirmed it was risky not rum they refuse to change the drink refuse a service coordinators and we were removed from the bar just because We had not been given the drinks we ordered and paid for discussion with the service discuss the way we retreated a visitors to crew and we will not come back here again I will be putting a review into train standards include to let them know thispite the bar it's not serving as advertised I've asked you Babe I've asked you to wait the morning I'm saying that I'm sorry
What a cracking night we had last night. Our band sandraiser played there. It started off a bit quiet but by the end of the night it was really busy. The landlord, his missis and the staff were great and in fact the brunswick is the only place we've ever played where the landlord gave us a 50 quid tip out of his own pocket coz we'd filled his pub and everyone had such a good time. Special mention to the door staff too who kept everyone safe and were having no messing about by people who had clearly over imbibed. Great venue. Nice people. Nuff said.
Lively atmosphere. Not what you'd call a family pub with some of the regulars. Loads of signs about NOT taking drugs there. Not a lot of choice on beers
The Brunswick is still a fantastic pub as it has been for the last 20years. Music every weekend, a brilliant selection of well kept ales. Decent prices. Excellent bar staff. One of Crewe's better places to wet your whistle
Attend a mtg, at short notice due to prebooked place not available due to being used for asylum people I believe, good of brunswick to accommodate our group appreciated..
Awesome pub, friendly staff and customers
Wonderful pub but it's cash only
It's the best pub I've worked and it's also the best place I've been to drink as well
