Don't walk around the Brunel Centre taking pictures 'cos they'll escort you to where the managers hang out and lock you in a room. Don't deny it Brunel, you locked me in a room. Wouldn't have been so bad but Mr. Snotty tried to argue law with me, rather unsuccessfully, I hasten to add. The Brunel Centre is dying, much like the whole of Swindon. They've just spent thirty-three million on a new transport hub just so you can wander around a dirty old town, looking at people, most of whom seem to be thoroughly miserable. I'm never going back to Swindon, unless I'm kidnapped and locked in the Brunel Centre room again. Do yourself a favour. Avoid the Centre, avoid Swindon.
The only word I can use is DATED! When will the upgrades come to this place. It has been an absolute joke the past few years with random shops opening. No notable places to shop at. If you’re from out of town don’t even bother coming here honestly! Just the basics here
The Brunel Shopping Centre in Swindon is a spacious, well-maintained place that makes shopping easy and enjoyable. From the moment you walk in, the wide, open walkways give you plenty of room to move around, even on busy days. Everything is kept clean and tidy, which really adds to the pleasant atmosphere.nnThere’s a great range of shops here, covering everything from fashion and beauty to technology and homeware. Whether you’re after big high-street names or smaller specialist stores, you can usually find what you need without having to go anywhere else. The variety means it’s ideal for both a quick trip for essentials and a longer day out browsing.nnThe food courts are another highlight. There’s a good choice of places to eat, from quick takeaway options to sit-down meals, so it’s easy to grab a coffee, enjoy lunch with friends, or take a break between shops.nnParking is conveniently close, making it simple to pop in for a short visit or spend a whole afternoon here. Overall, The Brunel Shopping Centre combines space, choice, and convenience, making it one of the best shopping spots in Swindon. I would definitely recommend it for a relaxed and hassle-free shopping experienc
Absolute waste of time one half is completely closed so when you park in the car park you can't walk through anymore you have use the lift to go to the bottom and then risk your life if you have a pushchair to get out. Toilets are clean but the food is over priced rubbish, arcade is ok priced but always busy so you end up waiting a while for a go or dont get a go on the gamesnOnly decent think is the veg and fruit stall
Brunel Shopping Centre is a decent place for shopping with a good selection of stores, including well-known brands and some independent shops. It’s conveniently located in the heart of Swindon, which makes it easy to pop in for essentials or a quick browse.nnHowever, the centre does feel a bit dated, and it can get quite crowded, especially on weekends. Some areas feel a little cramped, and a few stores seem to be understocked or in need of a refresh. The food court is nice but could use a few more diverse options.nnParking can be tricky, and the layout isn’t the most user-friendly. Overall, it’s a good spot for a quick shop, but it could definitely benefit from some upgrades to improve the experience.
