The Orbital Shopping Park has a huge car park, which is great, but it gets incredibly crowded on weekends. Be prepared to queue for a spot and expect some delay when exiting. I visited during their monthly weekend market, which featured a variety of stalls around 12 stalls, including a bakery, a butcher truck, a charity shop, and even a stall from the Swindon police. It was a short and pleasant experience to browse through these before doing my grocery run at M&S and Lidl.
Good shops, plenty of parking, easy access and exit from the shopping centre.
This beautiful shopping centre in Swindon. Actually, this is where I discovered the best Nandos architectural restaurant. I am sure you will love it
Updated from 2 stars on a 5 year old review. This place has improved a lot. You have a lot of shops, such an improvement on central Swindon where it's a sweet f-all. Highly recommend going here for shopping, you have Asda, Lidl, Boots, Costa, Next, M&S, New Look and more! Such a solid variety of places and fair prices. Would return again next payday.
My favourite coffee place ever! They have books you can read while you are having a cuppa.. the cakes are always fresh, nice cosy chairs where you can lose yourself for an hour or so..
Honestly, ASDA for me is the least interesting shop of all supermarkets. In general it appears no warm welcoming like other big supermarkets but also it seems to be messy and often has empty shelves. Today there were barely any fruits or veggies. They have big boards informing that they cooperate with British farmers but to find British apples, I've had to dig trough all the crates. Most of the fruit and vegetables were from France, Spain or other EU countries. I'm the person that loves to support our British businesses so I tend to buy only British produce. When you shop in Asda it is really challenging task. I really don't like to shop at Asda unless I'm around and I pop in to check if they have anything interesting.
One of the very few places left in Swindon to actually go shopping if you need variety... Shattered that the other shops have closed like Debenhams
A very vast shopping complex. We have been here to Asda, it’s truly Huge. Ample parking place and a petrol pump of Asda on the site. Free parking for 5 hours.
only went to sports direct which as bad luck would have it is tiny and closing, hence could not get what I went for, perfectly helpful staff though which is one up the oxford shop which is not a nice place. As for the park overall it seemed to have some of the big names and there's plenty parking.
It’s okay. Lack of parent child parking when compared to other places makes it a below average experience, good for quick shop but groceries are family shopping experience is less than ideal.
