First time visiting The Brunch Co in Leigh-on-Sea and what an experience. My sister in law and I had just been turned away from another restaurant spot because we had a buggy with us and we weren’t allowed in “in case they got busy” so we left and headed down to The Brunch Co - and we were so glad we did.nnImmediately greeted by Archie who confirmed how many we wanted per table and went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable with moving tables and chairs to allow us to sit in the corner. Straight away both my sister in law and I felt so much better in this environment.nnOverwhelmed by the menu, we asked Archie for his favourites and they didn’t disappoint. We ordered the Lemon Drizzle Iced Latte, White Chocolate & Hazelnut Iced Latte. Pondering over the variety of food options, Archie recommended the Chocolate Pancakes which were elite and I went for the Halloumi wrap.nnBoth items came quickly, the iced latte’s were 10/10 - full of flavour and perfect to title. Food shortly joined and equally both of us were impressed with the presentation and how fresh it was.nnThe overall vibe of the place was cosy, professional and welcoming. The cocktail bar element with Brunch & Coffee’s available works so well for all times of the day. Rumour’s stated that they’re opening another location which would definitely be a hit. The server when we paid didn’t catch his name was telling us all about the history of the business and could see his passion for his job.nnWe’ve already made arrangements to go back and take our partners to try more of the menu. Would definitely recommend and thanks to Archie for being so accommodating.
nThe Brunch Co – Leigh-on-SeannAn absolute gem in Leigh-on-Sea. The moment we walked in, the ambience felt perfect — warm, modern, and inviting without being overcrowded or noisy. You can tell a lot of thought has gone into creating a comfortable space.nnThe food was incredible. We ordered the Smokado and a mini stack of their stunning pancakes, and both were packed with flavour and presented beautifully. The ingredients tasted fresh, the portions were just right, and every bite had a perfect balance of textures and flavours. The coffee was excellent too — smooth, rich, and exactly what you want from a brunch spot.nnThe staff really made the experience even better. Everyone was friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. Elise, in particular, was super friendly and made us feel right at home.nnOverall, The Brunch Co exceeded expectations in every way. Great food, great atmosphere, great service — a must-visit if you’re in the area. Highly recommended!
Had a lovely brunch, coffee and then healthy shake.nnBrunch bun was really nice with a good sausage patty and good runny egg etc in a nice bun. Really tasty. Nice hot coffee and then had a great banana, almond milk and date shake. All really good and great service. It’s a really friendly place and the owner is very welcoming and friendly too. Look forward to returning.
I’d say this place was pretty average overall. The atmosphere is definitely nice cozy interior with a relaxed vibe, and it seems like a popular spot for weekend brunch. The menu had a good range of choices, and the food was decent, but nothing really wowed me. My dish was cooked fine, but it lacked a little flavor and creativity compared to other brunch places I’ve tried.nnI ordered a beef burger with sweet potatoes fries and my friend ordered Honey Harissa Chicken Skewers. The beef burger was alright however it was very hard. I had to use a knife and fork to cut it and it took be a good 4-5 saws before I cut a piece off. The chicken skewers did not have a nice taste to it but everything else on the plate was lovely.nnService was friendly, which I appreciated, though things did move a bit slowly. Our server seemed attentive, but it took longer than expected for drinks and food to come out. Not a deal-breaker, but noticeable. Prices felt a little high for what we got. The portions were fair, but for the quality and taste, I expected a bit more. It’s not that the food was bad just not memorable.nnOverall, it’s an okay option if you’re nearby and want a casual brunch, but I don’t think it’s somewhere I’d go out of my way to return to. With a few improvements in flavor and efficiency, this place could easily shine more.
Went here for breakfast on New Years Day. Really good place, warm welcome , great atmosphere, really good service, excellent food.
