What a lovely place! The food is so good. I was very impressed. The prices are excellent too. A particular barmaid Chris is a very attentive barmaid. I had a most enjoyable evening here with my daughter and friend. I will definitely be going back to sample the whole menu!Food: 5/5
Crofton Park  £5.20 Amstel The Brockley Jack is located on a busy stretch of road in Crofton Park SE4. The nearest station is Crofton Park, Honor Oak and Brockley stations are also close by. This majestic pub was built in 1898. Before being named the Brockley Jack, an inn had stood here known as The Crooked Billet, built in the eighteenth century. The pub is reputedly named after Jack Cade, leader of the 1450 Kentish Uprising. This is a large High Street pub that is traditionally decorated with a few contemporary touches here and there. The servery stretches down the middle with the bar area wrapping around to a dining area at the rear. My favourite section was the carpeted area to the right which is covered with dark wood panels and coloured glass with a door leading through to the 50 seat theatre. At the back of the pub is a large patio Beer garden. This Greene King pub offers a familiar beer selection which included a couple of craft and four cask ales. I decided on an Amstel, my pint was a bit flat, price point was reasonable at just over a fiver. The food menu is traditional pub grub, Fish & Chips costs £11.19. I arrived mid-afternoon on an overcast day in May. The pub was fairly quiet with an older local crowd in attendance. The atmosphere was chilled, a chart playlist played in the background and there was horse racing on in the corner which had a few punters engaged. The service was good, the chap who served me was friendly and pleasant. In London, It is rare to find a pub of this size still in existence. In today’s pub climate it is so difficult to fill them up and make them viable. It was great to see this stunning boozer trading and serving the local community. This may be a chain pub but The @brockleyjackofficial is well worth a visit to admire this glorious building alone. ℹ Info correct on visiting 04.05.24
Had my baby shower at the pub yesterday. The whole team was amazing, from bar service to food service to customer service. Everyone had a lovely time and I couldn't of been happier. Thank you to manager Thomas for sorting out the previous miscommunication. Made me feel reassured and happy. My guest were impressed. Outside area really helped for kids to have a bit of freedom
Been here with my partner and little one in last month multiple times and must say it is getting better by each visit. Food is good but the atmosphere changed a lot. We learned there is new manager, i think Thomas is his name, and want to say well done man! Keep doing what u are so far, it is making difference already. We will keep going here :
Gave a try to this place for the first time and was really pleasantly surprised. Went there over the weekend, and, to be honest, I had the best Sunday roast in my life. The staff was very kind as well, and on the way out I bumbed into manager of the pub, Thomas, who was also very nice. We had a little chit chat and I ensured him that he just got a new regular customer. The food, atmosphere, people... can't rate less than 5 stars.
Quite pleasant experience. Food good for what you're paying. Service nice and friendly. Yes the pub needs a little TLC but guessing that's more the brewery side of things. Will pop in again as was a cheap.Food: 4/5

Friendly & Helpful staff. Good choice foods & drinks. OK, size food portions on the lunch menu. Good value for money if you are on a budget, but some of the inside building needs fixing.Food: 5/5
