Great food, Nice place to eat.  lovely accommodating staff. charming mix of classic pub & oriental features. One of my favourite places to eat out.

Seriously..... If they have to have menus on the table with pictures .. that have quite obviously been there for years and years.... And keep a newspaper clipping to tell you they were in the good beer guide 2010!!? You know it's gonna be bad. Stowells wine by the glass on tap! Really... In 2018? I was looking for the spitoon. 
Beer was pleasant though. .. but tried to charge me a pound for using a card....the cheek??!!!!

Come on.... You can do better if you just looked at how bad things look from a customer perspective.
