There was no indication that they did Sunday dinner on the menu. There were a few randomly placed extra cards but not on my table. The chips were pathetic. The meal I ordered came with an unidentified pie. When asked, the waiter pointed to a banner at the top of the menu that said all beef steaks came with this. Since I was ordering gammon I didn't read this. No-one asked if I would like to order a sweet or coffee.

Lovely place, very homely, large pub, lots if different areas to sit indoors & out. Excellent menu. We chose pizza's, good choice. Our teenage kids had a pizza each while my husband & myself shared a pizza, a side of skin on fries, onion rings and breaded garlic mushrooms with garlic mayonnaise. Really enjoyed our meals. It seems you can take pizzas home as they have pizza boxes. We didn't have dessert as it was Easter Sunday we were saving ourselves for our easter eggs at home. Would go again if we go that way, we stopped there after stopping at Lake Vyrnwy.

Hoped it might be better after its recent rebrand but things are still as shambolic as ever. I can only think of two reasons you'd go here: there's literally no other option (this happens quite a lot in Welshpool), or you actively enjoy what you order bearing only a passing resemblance to what you actually get. They've run out of half the things you want (including pepperoni - at a pizza pub) and the other half get substituted for random items without any kind of warning. Some of the staff are lovely, some are barely perfunctory, some are verging on impolite. None is efficient. Honestly, unless you're desperate, avoid it.
