Story

The “West End Café” as it was known back in the 70s was seen by a man of Greek origin who had an idea of transforming it into a Fish and Chip shop. In the year 1982, he and his wife took all they had including their three children and took on a challenge. The success of that challenge has seen Andrew’s Fish Bar in Welshpool become one of the most popular chippies in the country with people coming from afar to try for themselves the good quality and service provided by the high standards used by the family. Andrews Fish Bar has since won numerous awards including the highest accolade by being named as the No 1 Fish and Chip shop in the country by Seafish the organisers for its product, quality and service.
